Day 1: Entebbe – Kampala City
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our English professional driver-guide will meet you and you amicably exchange greetings. After transfer to your hotel where you will be briefed about insights of your safari. If your arrival is early you will visit to some nearby cultural sites like independence monument, Uganda museum and Makerere art gallery. Dinner and over night at Serena Hotel/Sheraton Hotel Kampala/Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House. Meal plan: Half-Board.
Day2: Kampala City Tour
Early morning breakfast, after embark our safari truck and take Kampala city excursion visiting the different cultural sites starting with Katereke ditch where King Kalema tortured the princesses’ and princesses, where later he killed prince Bamweyana, visit Nagaalabi Coronation Site which has the real legendry tale and origin of the Buganda Kingdom, proceed to Kasubi Tombs a burial place for the Baganda Kings (though it was gutted to fire) lunch at Makerere guest house then an afternoon visit to the Residence of the King and his parliament at (Bulange). Drive Uganda museum, Bahai temple with panoramic green cover and view of other seven hills of wonders of Kampala and an evening relax at the Namugongo shrine as you experience the history of the place. Day3: Kampala City – Jinja Tour
After breakfast, drive to the eastwards of Uganda to experience a whole day cultural experience with amazing stopover at Ssezibwa Falls to experience the legendry tale of this place and its origin and after visit the historical-cultural Mabira forest with its unique primate and bird species. Lunch en-route, visit the source of the Nile and adventure tourists can enjoy white water rafting and bungee jumping along river Nile and visit the palace of Kyabazinga the King of Busoga with evening cultural entertainment in the palace, after drive back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at our previous hotel, Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day4: Kampala – Kalangala Beach Holiday
After a morning breakfast, visit to Baagalayaze the burial place to the Queen Mothers of the Buganda Kings, enjoy cooking traditional meals with the remaining Queen mother and her daughters, such as Luwombo, Matoke. Drive to Nakiwogo Entebbe to catch your ferry to Ssese Islands as you enjoy the breeze of the second largest fresh water Lake in the world, (Victoria) en-route. Arrival at Ssese Islands late evening and Check in at the Mirembe resort hotel, Ssese habitant hotel, pearl gardens beach or Ssese resort club. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day5: Kalangala Beach Holiday
Dawn fishing with local fishermen on the Victoria, return back to the lodge for breakfast, after visit to the BIDCO Palm Tree Gardens, drive up to the “Russia of Africa” with your guide the safari will not only be experiential but also informative by him helping you identify boundaries of the Victoria to Tanzania. Return to lodge for lunch, relax and afternoon take a Cruise on Lake Victoria to visit the different fishing villages. Dinner and overnight at previous lodge, Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day6: Kalangala – Kampala
Morning breakfast, after embark the ferry to transfer back to Entebbe – Kampala with our lunch at Hotel triangle along Buganda road then make visits to some craft shops as we prepare for cultural entertainment at Ndere centre. Dinner and over night at Serena Hotel Kampala/Sheraton Hotel Kampala/Cassia Lodge/Namirembe Guest House. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day7: Kampala – Fort portal City
Early morning breakfast, thereafter transfer to Fort Portal via Mityana – Mubende highway with amazing stopover at Tanda village to experience story telling of how “walumbe” brother to Nambi a wife to “Kintu” the first Muganda lost life and more experiential and informative, en-route shopping of snacks at Mubende highway local market and visit to Nakayima tree to experience more culturally. With our lunch en-route in fort at mountain of the moon, but before take another branch off to Bigo Byamugenyi the historical place for the Bachwezi who were super natural beings and they disappeared mysteriously, then continue to Fort Portal which lays close to the fabled mountains of the moon. Dinner and overnight at mountain of the moon, Fort motel or Rwenzori view guest house. Meal plan: Full-Board
Day8: Fort portal
Early morning breakfast, after visit Ntandi hills the home to the Batwa from Ituri forest, as we head back to Fort Portal we branch to the Nyakasura Hills and Amabeere Ga nyinamwiru caves the real origin of the Bachwezi, time allowing we shall be entertained by the Enganzi Za Toro cultural group. With our lunch en-route, Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day9: Bakonjo Community Visit
Today we shall take our breakfast, after embark our safari truck and drive via the Toro Kingdom, with your guide he will informatively explain to you the legendry history of the Kingdom. Thereafter visit to the Bakonjo village at Ruboni near the foot hills of Rwenzori mountains and spend the whole day interacting with the Bakonjo Community, visit the traditional healer receive their entertainment. Evening drive to Queen national park. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Katara Lodge/Bush Lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board
Day10: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Dawn game drive in the park to spot some of the big five like Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes and Giraffes and other wildlife like warthogs, bush bucks, water bucks, leopards, oribi among others with variety of bird life species like sparrows, swallows, spur fowl, doves and more. Return to lodge for refreshment, breakfast and best African cuisine. Take a relax and afternoon take a 2 hours boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which joins lake Edward and George, this cruise exposes you to a school of Hippos, herds of Buffaloes and Elephants not leaving out the different species of birds, both indigenous and migrants along the banks of the river. Evening drive to Katwe Crater Lake to experience salt mining and the famous bird watching of flamingos as the sun is setting off. Return to lodge for dinner and over night, Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day11: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Forest National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Bwindi forest the home to endangered mountain gorillas via the Ishasha sector where we can have great opportunity to spot the African tree climbing lions only found Uganda. Drive through the Switzerland of Africa with views of the tea plantations and processing factory, distant scenic view of mountain Rwenzori arranged cones. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs/Buhoma Haven Lodge/Buhoma Rest Camp. Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day12: Bwindi Gorilla Tour
Today we shall have early morning cup of coffee, after prepare for briefing from park officials and later enter into the jungle to track the shy mountain gorillas walking up steeply in the dense rain forest through different trails crisscrossed by wild animals allowing access to tourists. This experience is life long lasting wonderful adventure that one should enjoy before death. This amazing experience can be half or whole day search and when meet them relax with them spending your one hour permitted to stay with them. The following are very vital to come with them which include: rain gears, hut, walkable shoes, insect repellent, camera, sun screen, and you will have to move with packed food and bottled water, snacks that day. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board
Day13: Bwindi Community Visit
Have an early morning breakfast, take a village walk visit to the typical local home stead of Bakiga, traditional healers, the Batwa’s once forest dwellers and experience their culture and performances, visit to the local breweries, visit to the local craft shops and shop some local souvenirs’. Evening return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, Meal plan: Full-Board.
Day 14: Bwindi Forest National Park -Mpigi Cultural Sites
Early morning breakfast, thereafter drive back to Kampala with our en-route lunch at Agip motel or Regency hotel or we can enjoy it at Igongo cultural centre with the experience of Ankole culture and norms. After proceed with stop over the Equator for snacks and life time experience photo shooting and the Drum making centre at Mpambire. Dinner and overnight at Buwama crocodile farm. Meal plan: Full-Board
Day 15: Mpigi – Kampala
Early morning breakfast, after drive to Butambala one of Kabaka’s counties that offers the historical site which is termed as the forgotten Mecca. This site is called “Natiyole” located on Simba hill and your will be experiential and informative about the legendry tale of this site. After all that experience drive to Mpanga forest but with en-route lunch at this forest you will take a foot/ nature walk to watch primates and bird life species like monkeys, blue turacos, white and black horn bills among others respectively. Evening drive to Kampala for dinner and overnight at our previous hotel or you will be dropped at the airport by our guide to board your flight back home or your next destination.
